The Fire Ant Strategy

The Fire Ant Strategy is how ordinary patriots beat a giant. It is named after the Texas fire ant: small, decentralized, relentless, and impossible to fight off once it swarms.

The Blob is one big, slow, slimy target. We are everywhere, and we move together. One ant is nothing. A colony is unstoppable. And fire ants don't drown when the floodwaters rise; they lock legs, pull together, and build a living raft that floats for days. Standing together, we can survive anything and outlast the Blob.

We are organizing online. We can do about 90% of what's needed from our own computers and smartphones, using the power of social media and crowd-sourced digital PR: exposing Blobsters by name, nominating them to the Wall of Shame, sharing documented receipts widely, and turning off the media that covers for them.

We can also take the fight local:

• Call your county sheriff or commissioners and demand answers.
• File a public records request (FOIA) on suspected corruption.
• Show up to a school board or city council meeting.
• Vote a Blobster out.

It costs almost nothing to bite. Five minutes, five dollars, or talk to five people. Each bite is small. Together they bring down a giant.

Two crowd-sourced databases

Corruption survives on secrecy and on you never connecting a name to the conduct. Every American who has seen it up close holds one piece of the picture. When we put those pieces in one place, the Blob has nowhere left to hide. So we are building two public databases, from the bottom all the way to the top.
